FAQ's
- What is the units of the scale bar to the right of the image below?
- Can you please confirm your approach in calculating encircled energy and ensquared energy? I.e. I just want to understand the process. I don’t think there’s anything incorrect.
- We ran into a new issue, after completing a simulation (using the provided .mpf), functions for results do not work. We did a basic normal incidence simulation at 4 wavelengths. For example, plotting fields reports no data and the 3D visualization cannot play. The results .exo file couldn’t be included due to its size (2.3 GB).
- By any chance, will future MIRaGE developments include excitation from non-planar waves?
- How can you define a complex input wave? (eg. Non-planar wave, such as an incident gaussian beam or aberrated wavefront)?
- How can I increase density of the mesh at interfaces without interrupting shared surface imprints/merges?
- How do you set boundary conditions (eg. CST’s Floquet port unit-cell boundary)?
- Where is a listing of keyboard shortcuts?
- In developing Objective Functions, do they have to be written in Python?
- If one had two or three objective functions, are they executed sequentially one increment at a time, or is one optimization completed and then the next objective function executed?
- What is the recommended GB/thread in MIRAGE?
